At Naital Technologies, we believe that digital transformation is not about deploying off-the-shelf tools — it’s about building the right solutions that work for the people using them. Our approach to client engagement is deeply collaborative. We begin by listening intently to understand our partners’ real-world challenges, document the core technical requirements with precision, and work in agile sprints to co-develop and fine-tune solutions with end users at the center.

Whether we’re working with government agencies, fintech startups, or nonprofit implementers, our focus is always on delivering user-validated technology that’s adaptable, reliable, and scalable. Below are three case studies that illustrate how this process has translated into real impact across sectors and geographies.

1. PMSPro: Smarter Project Delivery for Development Programs

One of the key challenges faced by development organizations is the lack of visibility and control over project delivery across dispersed teams. When our client approached us, they needed more than just a project tracker — they wanted a solution that could link work planning, budgeting, and implementation monitoring in a single, user-friendly platform.

Through a series of stakeholder discovery workshops, we documented the needs of both program managers and field teams. We designed PMSPro to support annual and quarterly work plans, allowing teams to define outputs, allocate budgets, and track progress against targets. The system includes real-time dashboards that visualize implementation progress, and a robust notification engine that keeps users and managers informed of delays, budget overruns, and milestone achievements.

Built using agile methodology, we released successive features in sprint cycles, incorporating feedback from actual users in each iteration. Today, PMSPro supports organizations in managing complex donor-funded programs more efficiently, with enhanced accountability and evidence-based decision-making.

2. Data-Driven Credit Analytics for African Fintechs

Fintechs across Africa often face the dual challenge of expanding credit access while minimizing risk. Most rely on fragmented or non-traditional data sources to evaluate customer creditworthiness. Our client — a pan-African fintech company — needed a custom-built analytics engine that could process and score financial behaviors drawn from mobile money platforms, loan repayment histories, and alternative data.

Our team began with an intensive discovery process to map out the client’s operational and regulatory landscape across different countries. We worked with their data science and product teams to define the logic behind customer segmentation, data ingestion rules, and credit score modeling. The resulting platform features a flexible scoring engine powered by machine learning models, supported by robust data pipelines and APIs for real-time reporting.

Using this platform, fintech clients can now generate reliable credit scores for previously unbanked populations, enabling more inclusive lending. Our agile delivery approach ensured rapid validation of scoring models, and the platform continues to evolve with the client’s growing datasets and market insights.

3. Digital Health Platforms for Ministries of Health

In six African countries — Uganda, Liberia, Zambia, Togo, DRC, and Chad — Ministries of Health have turned to Naital Technologies to modernize their digital health infrastructure. Each country had unique priorities: from strengthening routine immunization systems to improving maternal and child health (RMNCH) data capture and HIV/AIDS program reporting.

Our engagement model started with on-site assessments and multi-stakeholder consultations, including national health informatics units, implementing partners like UNICEF, Jhpiego, and LMH, and frontline health workers. Based on these insights, we customized open-source global goods such as OpenSRP, DHIS2, and OpenMRS to local contexts, integrating them with national health information exchanges where needed.

Working in agile collaboration with local and international teams, we delivered solutions that were not only technically sound but also aligned with national strategies and scalable across regions. In each country, we built capacity for system use, ownership, and sustainability through training, localization, and long-term support. These digital platforms now serve as critical tools for governments to improve health outcomes, monitor performance, and respond faster to emerging public health challenges.

Each of these engagements reflects our core philosophy: that successful technology solutions are built with — not just for — the users they serve. At Naital Technologies, we continue to grow our impact by delivering agile, human-centered tech that transforms organizations for the better.
